Meet the Dreamer Behind the Relics

I've always been a creator. The kind of person who learns a new craft simply because an outfit vision demands it.

Friends and family joke that I collect hobbies, but in truth, I collect ways to bring ideas to life. Whether I’m headed to a renaissance faire, a music festival, or a themed gathering, I see getting dressed as storytelling.

And those stories have a funny way of inviting connection.

Strangers stop to compliment an outfit. Conversations spark. Joy spreads in small, unexpected moments.

Over time, I realized something powerful:
The more whimsical I allowed myself to be, the more connected I felt to the world around me.

Relics & Reverie was born from that realization.

The Turning Point

For most of my twenties, I worked in corporate America. And while it taught me many things, it slowly drained the color from my life.
Productivity metrics. Endless pressure. The quiet feeling that creativity had no place there.

At 29, I made the decision to walk away.

Instead of chasing a life that felt empty, I began chasing experiences that made me feel alive again: renaissance faires, music festivals, creativity, and community.

I found my joy again.
I found my whimsy again.

Relics & Reverie grew from that moment.

The Philosophy Behind Relics & Reverie

Whimsy Has No Age Limit

We don’t outgrow play.
We’re simply taught to abandon it.

Whimsy is not childish, it’s a form of aliveness. It’s curiosity, creativity, and joy all woven together. Whether it shows up in how you dress, how you decorate your space, or how you move through the world, it deserves to stay with you.

Creativity Is Sacred

There’s something deeply human about wanting to create.

To take something invisible (a feeling, a vision, a spark) and give it form.

That process deserves to be treated with care. With intention. With respect.

Not rushed. Not minimized. Not turned into something purely functional.

Creativity is sacred because it’s where we meet ourselves most honestly.

Life Is Meant to Be Romanticized

Magic isn’t reserved for big moments.

It lives in the small things. The way you get dressed, the way you light a space, the way you choose to experience your everyday life.

Romanticizing your life isn’t about escaping reality. It’s about choosing to see beauty, intention, and meaning in the moments that already exist.

Community Is Magic

We are not meant to do life alone.

Some of the most powerful moments happen in shared spaces; on dance floors, at festivals, in passing conversations with strangers who feel like instant friends.

Connection is where magic multiplies. It’s where we remember that we’re part of something bigger.

Every Emotion Has Beauty

Life isn’t meant to be experienced in just one feeling.

Joy, sadness, excitement, overwhelm, softness, intensity... each emotion carries something meaningful. The same depth that allows us to feel heavy moments is what allows us to feel wonder so fully.

There is beauty in the entire spectrum of being human.

Not just in the light, but in everything that makes us whole.

Built With Pride

Relics & Reverie is proudly woman-owned, queer-owned, and Latina-owned.

Creating this brand is also about building the kind of world I want to exist in. One where creativity is valued, identity is celebrated, and people feel safe expressing themselves fully.

Everyone deserves spaces where they can show up as their most magical selves.

An Invitation

Romanticize your life.

Dress for joy.
Create beauty around you.
Find magic in the mundane.

Thank you for stepping into this world with me. I’m so glad you found your way here.

With love & reverie,
Icheiri
